Dogs patrol Scentsy pond, scaring away geese

It's a dirty job, but someone, or at least some dogs, have to do it.

Border Collies Izzy and Luna are responsible for scaring away unwanted visitors at Scentsy headquarters, geese.

“We have a good-sized pond on our property that is highly attractive to geese, especially when thousands of birds are looking for a place to roost and call home,” said  head of Environmental Safety for Scentsy Josh McNitt.  “We pay a lot of money for our landscaping to look nice. We want our employees and visitors to walk freely on the paths and sit comfortably on the grass without having to dodge goose grease.”

Scentsy sent us some GoPro footage of these dogs at work and we just had to share it with you.

“These dogs are ideal employees. They are all business when it’s time to work, and they are so much more effective than fences, signs or decoys,” McNitt said.

The dogs have an indoor and outdoor kennel on site and when they aren't working they enjoy playing fetch and getting their ears scratched.
