Dog parks are popping up across the Treasure Valley with the next one set for the city of Kuna.

A location has been scouted out but nothing is set in stone.

City leaders are pondering adding fences to Sadie Creek Park where an irrigation pond already exists.

The hope is to have the park ready within the next year.

"One of the biggest things about Kuna is we're all about community," says Mayor Joe Stear, City of Kuna. "It's not only about taking the dogs out and giving them some exercise and something to do but people who take their dogs to the park also get to interact and meet new friends."

Input on what you'd like to see at the dog park, or other locations you think might be good, are encouraged.

Some of the funding for this project will come from a grant but donations from the public are welcome.
