With the arrival of Fall made official Thursday, so begins the work of raking up all those leaves!

Maintenance crews at Kleiner Park in Meridian had some extra hands pitching in thanks to an annual effort called Day of Caring.

Employees were armed with rakes, as part of Mountain West Bank's annual event where they're dedicated to community service.

The project is meant to help spread the spirit of teamwork.

"We all look forward to it every year. We close the bank at 1 p.m. and come out here and help with whatever the need is," said Tyler Lohman, a personal financial representative for Mountain West Bank. "It's nice for everybody to get out of the branch."

Other teams were spread out across the Treasure Valley including along the greenbelt and at the Boise Rescue Mission.
