MERIDIAN, Idaho — Dance Arts Academy held a second annual event today, offering dance classes in exchange for a donation of deodorant.
The deodorant collected will be distributed through The Closet, Inc., a local non-profit organization offering clothing to teens in need.
Dotty Hancock, owner of Dance Arts Academy says, "We sometimes take for granted simple things like deodorant and it's just an easy way for us to give back to other families and kids that may not come by new clothing and special products like deodorant as easily."
The dance classes were divided up by age and style of dance.
