Crews working to rescue cyclist in Boise foothills

Crews are working to rescue a mountain biker who was injured after a bicycle crash in the foothills Thursday morning around 11:17.

Dispatch says the man was biking in the area of the Three Bears Trail when he crashed, and was able to call 911 to get help. He does have a leg injury, but it is unclear how severe the injury is.

Boise Fire and Ada County Paramedics hiked in to retrieve the man, and at this time they are planning on hiking out with him.

The man's identity is unknown at this time.
