MOUNTAIN HOME, Idaho — Crews in Mountain Home are hard at work after a vehicle pulling a trailer backed up into a gas pump outside a gas station Wednesday morning.

The Idaho Statesman reports more than 700 gallons of gasoline spilled into the road.

The City of Mountain Home says the fuel ran into retention ponds nearby, and crews are taking precautions to make sure the area is cleaned up properly.

It's unknown if the driver has been cited.
