BOISE, Idaho — Boise dog lovers got a special treat of their own today at Ann Morrison Park.

A celebration of the beloved stubby-legged and giant-eared breed... the Corgi!

Event organizer, Lauren Studley says, "Ann Morrison Park is being invaded by Corgis of every size and shape. Mostly short and mostly potato like. This is just an event to help raise money for Fuzzy Paws Rescue and even people who don't have Corgis are obsessed with them anyway and everyone demanded that we do it again this year, so here we are! We have events we've got food, we've got a silent auction going and then we're also going to be having a costume contest."

Nicole Scofield, whose Corgis won the costume contest, says,"Oh the costumes, I think it was just something different and something the Corgi could wear that wouldn't get too terribly hot. And something we can make, we like to do a lot of cosplay and historical recreation stuff and this was right down our alley. And they are truly the stars of the show, they make it so easy because they're so cute, we just hope we can show how cool Corgis are and have them there for people to enjoy."
