Cooper Court: Vigil for homeless

Posted

After the City of Boise began efforts to clear out campers at Cooper Court, dozens of people gathered at the Grove Plaza in downtown Boise to show their support for the homeless community.

They began the vigil with a moment of silence.

Many people showed up armed with handmade signs showing they disagree with the city's actions. Some signs said "Throw Chief Bones to the dogs", "Evict Bieter" and "Exile is not a solution".
