SEATTLE, Washington — 6 On Your Side's Michelle Edmonds accepted an Emmy award Saturday night in Seattle for Community Baby Shower.
Community Baby Shower received the award for outstanding community outreach. Edmonds gave special thanks to the Treasure Valley Community for coming out year after year to support some of the youngest members of our community.
"Thank you to everybody who has donated to Community Baby Shower, thank you to the charities and nonprofits we continue to support - it's really hard work to strengthen families and making sure that babies are having the best healthy start they possibly can in Idaho," she said in her acceptance speech.
She also gave a big thanks to Albertsons and Blue Cross of Idaho for helping 6 On Your Side make the Community Baby Shower happen every year.

The 13th annual Community Baby Shower is right around the corner! On June 19, you can swing by any Albertsons store in the Treasure Valley and purchase or drop off baby supplies, diapers, formula, wipes, and more.
If you want to help, but can't make it to a donation bin, no worries! When you follow Albertsons on Twitter, Instagram or Facebook and post using #IdahoBabies, they will donate $10 per hashtag to Community Baby Shower (up to their $8,000 goal)!
This year, we are supporting five local education-based nonprofits.
