CALDWELL, Idaho — The College of Idaho treated fans to a homecoming victory with a 41-38 win over Southern Oregon Saturday.
The win moves the Yotes to 3-0 on the season.
The Yotes struck first after taking the opening kickoff. They marched 70 yards downfield, taking a 7-0 lead on a three-yard run by quarterback Darius-James Peterson.
From there, it was a back and forth game as the two teams combined for 39 points in the 4th quarter.
The Yotes get a much deserved bye week before traveling to Montana to take on Rocky Mountain on September 28.
