Spring means prom season for high schoolers, but what is supposed to be an exciting time can be stressful and expensive for some.
That's why the Assistance League of Boise opens up Cinderella's Closet every year to help out. Cinderella's closet rents dresses and tuxedos to high school students in ada county for prom.
The cost is 15 dollars which covers the dry cleaning.
The chairman of Cinderella's Closet says they would like to rent more dresses and tuxedos out to students who need them.
She says she looks forward to seeing the students every year.
"Just seeing the girls and boys dressed up. They just don't do it very often and moms and dads come in and they just think this is wonderful for 15 dollars so it's fun to see the kids dressed up," said Linda McCarthy, chairman, Cinderella's Closet.
The shop is open on Wednesday's from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and Saturdays noon to 4 p.m. in April.
You can also help out by donating a dress or tuxedo at the Assistance League of Boise on Glenwood.
