BOISE, Idaho — The holiday season is often accompanied by marriage proposals, and for newly engaged couples getting ready to tie the knot, there's a lot of planning to be done.
That's why wedding vendors from across the Treasure Valley joined forces at Jack's Urban Meeting Place on Saturday for The Chosen Weddings Show. The event brought DJ's, florists and photographers together under one roof.
"It's a great opportunity to come and connect individually one-on-one with vendors in a really welcoming and beautiful space and to not be overwhelmed with a million people around. You really have a great chance to connect," said Leah Alvarez, the president and founder of Chosen Weddings.
Proceeds from ticket sales will benefit Mission 43, The Women's and Children's Alliance and The Idaho Foodbank.
