Although Chobani is unable to host its Annual Community Giveaway, the Idaho company still plans to hand out 5,000 cases of Chobani products.

Chobani announced Monday it will donate 5,000 cases of greek yogurt, coffee creamer and more to the Idaho Foodbank and other charities that have seen a sharp increase in demand.

“This is our signature event of the year – and a favorite for our Chobani employee volunteers,” said Alyson Oüten, director of Community Relations, said in a statement. “We fully support all measures being taken to keep our community safe during this global pandemic, but we will certainly miss seeing all the smiling faces on those who drive through and collect their free Chobani. We stay apart for now so we can all come together safely next year.”

Chobani typically distributes 5,000 cases of free product at the annual Community Giveaway each year with products made at the Twin Falls facility.
