An injury crash in Nampa proves that properly installed car seats can save lives. A family van ended up on it's roof Thursday, but the little girl inside the car seat walked away without any injuries.

"There is quite a few times where I see kids, or pull people over that don't have their children in car seats and they should. This accident is a prime example of why you should," said Nampa Police Officer Angela Jolley.

Children ages six and under have to be in a car seat or a booster seat, if not you could face a fine.

Nampa Police does have some trained staff members on car seat installation. If you have questions on your car seat, call 208-468-7916 and leave a message with your name, number, and what the call is regarding.
