To encourage kids to be polite, have manners and be kind to each other, CBH Homes is visiting schools all over the Treasure Valley and donating 5,000 books to kindergartners.

The book is entitled "The Three Squirrels' Alphabet Book of Manners" and it was actually co-written by an employee of Corey Barton Homes. On Tuesday, the CBH teams delivered copies to kids at Willow Creek Elementary School in Nampa.

"I think its exciting for the kindergartners to learn to read and then have fun learning some manners alongside that, and there's just really wonderful illustrations in here that make the whole book fun and exciting," said Holly Haener, CBH Homes director of sales and marketing. "We've seen all of their excitement when they get the book and get to take a book of their own to keep."

So far, the folks at CBH have delivered several hundred books to students in the Meridian and Nampa areas.
