At the age of 29, local musician Jeff Crosby suffered a heart attack .

He was uninsured when it happened, leaving him with a $39,000 medical bill.

It happened in late February, right after Jeff returned from a tour in Mexico.

He spent  a day in the ICU and was left with a mountain of debt.

Jeff and his loved ones set up a gofundme.com page where over 300 people have donated a total of $20 thousand for him.

Now on Friday night multiple bands will take the stage at the Olympic in downtown Boise to help raise even more money. Jeff says that he is humbled by the benefit concert and is getting better.

"It's just one of those things you don't really think will ever happen to you and it does and you just kind of have to cope with it. I feel great now and  I 'm starting to move forward," Crosby said.

The concert starts at 7pm and goes till 12:30. Tickets are $15 or $10 in advance. 100% of revenue from the door goes to help with Jeff's medical bills. The show is 21 and over only. For more information on the concert clink here. To donate on the go fund me page, clickhere.
