Officials have arrested a man in connection with the death of a 38-year-old Boise resident.
24-year-old Omar Hamadi, the man's caretaker, was arrested in San Diego Tuesday evening.
The victim, a vulnerable adult with physical impairments, was hospitalized due to hot water burns from the water in a bathtub. The victim was taken to a burn unit in Salt Lake City but died from his injuries.
Hamadi was wanted in Ada County on a $10,000 felony warrant for abuse, exploitation or neglect of a vulnerable adult.
The Ada County Courts will work with local officials to arrange the extradition process.
