The Canyon County Sheriff wrapped up National Police Week today with a special ceremony that took a wider scope.
The ceremony honors the officers who have died in the line of duty, locally and nationally.
Last year, 144 officers died while serving their communities.
This is the 7th year Canyon County has honored fallen officers in this way.
72 Idaho law enforcement officers have died in the line of duty.
