TREASURE VALLEY, Idaho — Paul Mitchell the School in Boise will join thousands of beauty salons by inviting cancer patients and survivors for Cancer Survivor Beauty and Support Day Tuesday, June 4.

Paul Mitchell the School Boise will celebrate the day by offering a complimentary deep conditioning treatment or basic manicure to those affected by the disease.

Cancer Survivor Beauty and Support Day became a nationwide event when a Congressional Proclamation declared it an annual event for schools, salons, spas and communities to provide a gift to cancer survivors. The international event is a special moment for the 14 million cancer survivors, regardless of cancer type or when they were diagnosed, to receive a little kindness, support and pampering.

The day is a volunteer event only, no money is raised and no solicitations are made. Thousands of volunteers from the salon freely give their support and services on this day to all cancer survivors. Volunteers decide which services they wish to offer and cancer survivors schedule their own appointments. Contact Brittany by emailing her at brittanyw@boise.paulmitchell.edu
