Caldwell Police looking for robbery suspect

CALDWELL — Caldwell Police officers need your help in locating a man they say robbed the Idaho Central Credit Union in the 4800 block of Cleveland Blvd. in Caldwell Monday.

Shortly after 9 a.m., Canyon County Sheriff’s Office dispatchers received a call of a panic alarm activation at the credit union.

When officers arrived on the scene, they were told the suspect had already fled in foot. Officers searched the area, but were un able to locate the suspect.

Witnesses told investigators the man gave a note to a clerk, demanding money. He apparently did not have a weapon. He left with an undisclosed amount of cash.

He’s described as a Caucasian man, wearing a white T-shirt, a black hat, and glasses. His hair was pulled back in a ponytail. He appeared to be in his mid- to late-20s, according to police.
