Parents and students may notice an increased police presence at Vallivue High School tomorrow after a rumor of a hit list was reported by students, but it is just an added precaution. The rumor turned out to be false.
The Vallivue School District sent an automated message to parents today to let parents know about the rumor of a VHS student allegedly having a hit list with plans to act on it on Friday, but the message dispels the rumor as false. The message went on to say:
"Administrators and Caldwell Police have interviewed students and found there is no truth to the rumor. However, additional law enforcement will have a presence at the high school to provide additional safety for students. ”
