The local Buddhist community celebrated the opening of a new Treasure Valley temple Sunday.
The temple is located near the intersection of Maple Grove and Overland in Boise.
Several Vietnamese Buddhist nuns will live at the new Temple and besides traditional services in Vietnamese, there's also an English speaking group that meets there as well.
The Treasure Valley Dharma friends group will continue on with their Saturday sessions at the new temple.
They meet at 10 a.m. and anyone interested in learning more about Buddhism is welcome to stop by.
