BSU collecting used solar eclipse glasses

Now that the eclipse is over, many people have eclipse glasses laying around that they don't know what to do with. Don't throw them away.

Boise State is collecting the glasses to donate them to Astronomers Without Borders.

It's a California based organization that collects the glasses to donate to schools in South America and Asia to protect kids eyes when an eclipse crosses those continents in 2019. 


If you would like to donate your used glasses just head to Boise State University. The Physics Department, as well as University Advancement are collecting them.
