Boise State is holding its first "Giving Day" on Thursday, Sept. 13. The university is asking all Broncos and friends to share their passion for Boise State and support an area of the university that is meaningful to them.

Throughout Bronco Giving Day, donors and alumni can watch progress via live leader-boards and see the impact of their giving toward the day’s totals. Gifts on Bronco Giving Day will have a bigger impact thanks to generous Bronco supporters who will fund multiple challenges.

The 36-hour online giving campaign will provide quick, online access to support several key initiatives within academic colleges and departments, athletics and more.

Several campus activities are slated for Bronco Giving Day, including student events on the Boise State Quad featuring games, a bike raffle, free pizza for a post for students promoting the day on social media, and a “cash cab” trivia game on Boise State shuttles where students who answer questions earn an opportunity to designate dollars to a fund of their choice.

The Bronco Giving Day “war room” will host several staff members monitoring progress on two large screens and coordinating all social media activities, including live video feeds to multiple channels.
