BOISE, Idaho — The Boise State football team will be headed to the diamond for the 2019 Summer Classic Softball Game on June 24. The game is taking place at the Boise Hawks' Memorial Stadium.
The annual Home Run Derby is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. and will be immediately followed by the six-inning softball game, pitting the offense against the defense. Gates open at 5 p.m. After the game, the Broncos will be signing autographs for fans in attendance.
General admission tickets are only five dollars and admission is free for kids 12 and under. Tickets can be purchased by calling the Memorial Stadium box office at 208-322-5000, in-person at the Memorial Stadium Box Office, or online at the Boise Hawks website. Part of the ticket sales will go to the Team Harsin Program, generating scholarship opportunities for at-risk youth to participate in the Treasure Valley Optimist Youth Football Organization.
