Boise Police say a woman who claimed she was sexually assaulted in a west Boise neighborhood has changed her story and now investigators say no assault actually happened.
Police reported the incident on West Hickory Court and North Wheaton Lane late last month.
The woman had claimed she was walking by herself late at night when a stranger grabbed her from behind, threw her on the ground, sexually assaulted her, then ran when he heard a nearby car.
After investigating, and after the woman recanted her story, police have determined there was no assault and there are no outstanding suspects.
