IDAHO — The Boise VA said it would start offering the COVID-19 Vaccines for enrolled veterans.
Last week the Boise VA started to vaccinate its frontline health workers and nursing home residents with the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine.
"When we got the shipment call, we were very excited," Jeanette Mcmillan, Boise VA Vaccine Coordinator, said.
The Boise VA said higher risk veterans could immediately set up an appointment, while those in lower-risk groups will have to be schedule for later when more vaccines become available.
The Boise VA asks veterans to call and schedule, regardless of which priority group you think you're in, and call at (208) 422-1499 or (208) 422-1000 to speak with your primary care team.
