BOISE, Idaho — Hiking to the top of Table Rock with the community is a Boise State tradition that marks the end of the football team's fall camp.

The Boise State Broncos will travel to Florida State to take on the Seminoles on Saturday, August 31 before hosting their home opener against Marshall the following Saturday.

This team building experience has players climbing a three and a half mile trek up 2,000 feet of elevation where every single step symbolizes the journey this team will embark on during a long football season, one that they hope ends when they reach the top of the mountain.

“To see them take inspiration from the challenges ahead is really exciting for me," said new Boise State President Marlene Tromp. "Every student and every faculty member on campus can benefit from that message.”

Next Saturday the Broncos will host fan fest that will give fans their first chance to see the 2019 Broncos and another chance to purchase a piece of that iconic blue turf that got replaced this summer.
