BOISE, Idaho — Boise State's basketball teams will hit the court Friday after several cancellations earlier this week.

The Mountain West Conference announced Monday the Broncos' home-opener series against New Mexico would be postponed. Those games were set for December 3 - 5. A new date has not been announced.

Boise State said Tuesday the Men's team would host Montana Western at ExtraMile Arena, but late Thursday, the University canceled the matchup because of COVID-19 related issues in UMW's program.

The Broncos will now face off against the College of Idaho Coyotes at ExtraMile at 5 p.m. Friday. Fans can follow along live on the Mountain West Network.

BSU and C of I most recently played in 2017. The Broncos earned the victory, erasing a 35-30 halftime deficit to win 74-69. The Yotes are currently 1-0 and have not lost in over a calendar year. BSU comes into the game with a 1-1 record after opening the season on the road in Texas.

Before the Men's team tips off, Boise State Women's Basketball will open its season against the College of Idaho. That game is at 1 p.m.
