BOISE, Idaho — UPDATE: Thanks to tips from the public, Boise Police have found Gutierrez and have taken him into custody.
He is facing felony Aggravated Battery charges.

Original Story: Boise Police are investigating a stabbing that happened in an alley off 11th street between Idaho and Main streets.
Police say a friend of the victim--an adult male-- took him to the hospital with injuries that do not appear to be life threatening.
Police have identified Rosario Gutierrez as a suspect in the stabbing, and are searching for him.
Officers say it doesn't appear that the victim and the suspect know each other. The stabbing happened after the two men became involved in an altercation.
The stabbing is still under investigation.
