BOISE — Boise Police detectives are looking for a suspect in a series of window-peeping incidents in Boise’s North End.
Officers began investigating reports Tuesday of a suspicious person looking in windows of homes in the area of N. 33rd Street and Dewey Street. “When police responded to the area, they attempted to talk to the suspect before he fled the scene,” according to a Boise Police news release.
The suspect sped away in a ’90s model 4x4 Chevrolet pick-up truck that is possibly brown or dark gray. The truck has a shell on the back and a drop-down hitch. The license plate on the truck is: 8B DH447.
“It was last seen westbound on State Street near 6th Street,” the release said.
Officers pursued the vehicle, but the driver eluded them. Detectives believe the suspect may have abandoned the truck.
Anyone with any information as to the whereabouts of the pickup is asked to contact non-emergency dispatch at 208-377-6790.
