BOISE, Idaho — A reminder to lock your doors and keep your eyes open.

Boise Police say they've responded to at least 13 calls of burglaries and suspicious people across Boise Thursday. The reports are coming from the North End, the West End, and downtown areas--roughly between Woodlawn and Main streets, and between North 17th and North 26th streets.

In one case, someone used a rock to break glass and get into a house, but the suspect was scared away by the homeowners. In another case, someone pried a screen off a window.

Reports say the suspects were two males wearing backpacks.

Police are now beefing up patrols in those areas, but are asking residents to be watchful and call police if they see anything suspicious.
