Boise Police officers are on the scene of a shooting at an apartment complex in the 900 block of S. Philippi Street.
The shooting happened shortly before 6 a.m., according to an Ada County dispatch supervisor.
A male adult victim was transported to a Boise hospital. The victim’s condition has not yet been released.
Officers are searching neighborhoods in the area for two people, although police have not yet called them suspects in the shooting. The dispatch supervisor describes them as “a dark-skinned male with a purse and a dark-skinned male wearing a bandana.”
The supervisor also said police are having difficulty at the scene, due to a language barrier with witnesses and residents of the apartment complex.
Philippi St. is blocked between Curtis and Franklin Roads.
Drivers are asked to avoid the area if possible.
