The sunny skies made it a beautiful day for skydiving and one Boise man fell out of a perfectly good airplane at the age of 90 today.
90 year old John Goertzen celebrated his birthday with a parachute. He served with the United States Army Corps after World War 2, but never had to pull the chute. Today was John's second jump, he last did it ten years ago when he turned 80.
"I have a little mantra that I say, 'everyday in every way I'm getting better and better,' so that's my mantra and it's true," said John.
He plans to make the jump again when he turns 100.
