A Boise man is dead after a crash near Lucky Peak.
The Ada County Coroner says 52-year-old John Wood died from injuries in a single vehicle accident near milepost 11 on Highway 21.
Idaho State Police say Wood was driving a Dodge pickup southbound on Highway 21 when he lost control of the truck and it went over the embankment. The pickup rolled and landed about 200 feet down the embankment.
Wood was wearing a seatbelt, and died on scene from his injuries. His next of kin has been notified.
Toxicology results are pending.
The crash is still under investigation.
