NAMPA (KIVI) — A Boise 24-year-old is being charged with Vehicular Manslaughter after a crash in Meridian on October 24, 2018.
Police say they believe Tanner G. Illi was driving at a high rate of speed when he tried to turn left on Ten Mile Road from a non-turning lane. This, according to police, caused his black Chevrolet pickup to crash into a red Hyundai passenger car occupied by three people. Sally Weiskercher, a 78-year-old, was a passenger in the Hyundai. She died from injuries sustained in the crash.
The crash was investigated by Meridian Police Department as well as the Ada County Sheriff's Office.
