Meridian Police arrested Ertan Ikic, 30, of Boise, for sexually assaulting a female realtor.

Police were contacted by a co-worker of the victim -– who said her friend, a 36-year-old female realtor, had been showing a home to a man who a sexually assaulted her.

The victim told investigators, at approximately 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, she was showing a home in the 2000 block of Summberbrook in Meridian, when Ertan Ikic “began making inappropriate sexual comments to her,” said Meridian Police Deputy Chief Tracy Basterrechea.

According to the victim, Ikic “then cornered her in a hallway and put his hands down the back and front of her pants.  The victim pushed Ikic away telling him, “No!” and “Stop”! Ikic blocked the victim’s path and attempted to kiss her. The victim was finally able to get away from Ikic and run away,” Basterrechea said.

The victim then contacted her co-worker, who contacted the Meridian Police Department.

Meridian Police arrested Ikic later at his Boise home.

Ikic was booked into the Ada County Jail early Thursday on the charge of battery with intent to commit a serious felony and misdemeanor false imprisonment.

Battery with intent to commit a serious felony is punishable by imprisonment not to exceed twenty years; misdemeanor false imprisonment is punishable by fine not exceeding $5000, or by imprisonment in the county jail not more than one year, or both.
