A Boise man has been arrested on a variety of charges after attempting to flee the Ada County Sheriff’s Office action team members and the US Marshal Service.

The suspect, identified as Jeremiah W. Jones of Boise, was wanted on several warrants including aggravated assault with a deadly weapon stemming from an incident in Boise on December 5th.

Jones was found at a home located at the intersection of Winward Court and East 47th Street in Garden City on December 15th.

When officers attempted to make contact with Jones, he allegedly fled through a back window and ran.

Officers were able to catch Jones a short time later without incident.

During a search, Jones was allegedly found to be in possession of a substance that tested positive for marijuana as well as drug paraphernalia.

Jones was transported to the Ada County Jail and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon (F), malicious injury to property (m), resisting or obstructing officers-two counts (m), contempt (m), possession of marijuana (m), possession of drug paraphernalia (m), and probation violation (F).
