The Boise Depot will have an open house on December 8th from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. to celebrate the holiday season. They will be collecting Toys for Tots at the event, so folks can bring a new, unwrapped gift to donate.

There will be two hobby trains on display for people to enjoy and Boise Little Theater will also be there to do face painting for kids.

"We will also have music at 5:30 performed by silver brass and at 6:30, we will have free guided tours that people can attend and do a tour at the Boise Depot," said Karen Bledsoe, Boise Parks & Recreation.

If you are not able to make it to that event, join 6 On Your Side and the U.S. Marines for this year's Toys for Tots drive, as we try to help find gifts for 20,000 children in need.

You can drop off toys at any Albertsons or any of the hundreds of bins around the valley from now until December 15th.
