Boise BLM responds to multiple lightning wildfires on Tuesday

The Boise BLM responded to four lightning-ignited wildfires on Tuesday, July 24th, across the southern part of the district.

BLM Fire crews have been working overnight to suppress the wildfires and will continue fighting these wildfires over the next several days.

Those fires include Cat Fire, located about 13 miles east of Duck Valley Indian Reservation with estimated size at 10,000 acres. There is no estimated time to contain or control for this fire.

Cow Fire, about 10 miles northeast of Jordan Valley in Oregon, estimated at 759 acres and no estimated time of containing or control this fire.

Beav Fire located about 7 miles southeast of Juniper Mountain with the size estimated at 550 acres, BLM expects to contain this fire by 8 p.m. Wednesday and expected to control by 6 p.m. on Thursday.

And Nipntuck Fire is about 11 miles northwest of Juniper Mountain at 1/4 acre in size. This fire was contained since 10 p.m. on Tuesday night, but there is no estimated time of control.
