BOISE, Idaho — Boise Bicycle Project (BBP) is looking for help from the community to collect four tons of goatheads from June 1 to August 1, 2020. Over the past two years, BBP has collected over eight tons of goatheads in the Treasure Valley.

Goathead hotspots, like the Wylie Apartments and Jefferson Elementary, have seen a decrease in goatheads. This year's collection will look a little different due to the coronavirus, as community pickers will not be able to weight their results until the state goes into stage three of reopening. Until that happens, BBP is requesting community pickers send before and after pictures of picking sites to info@boisebicycleproject.org.
