The Blaine County Sheriff Search and Rescue team has suspended the search for a lost hiker.

The crew was searching for Fern L. Baird, 62 of Park City, Utah, signed in at the Prairie Creek Trailhead north of Ketchum on Oct. 19. Deputies began searching for her on Oct. 22 after being notified she was missing. The decision to suspend the search was made after a final major search Oct. 30, which included seven airlifted K9 teams and teams of ground searchers, with no results, according to Blaince County Sheriff's Office.

Anyone who might have seen Baird or has any information is asked to call BCSO Lt. Mike Abaid at 208-578-3371 or sheriff@co.blaine.id.us. Her family is offering a $25,000 reward for information that leads to her return, according to BCSO. She is described as 5-foot-5-inches, weighs 115 lbs and was last seen wearing a gray jacket, black pants and carrying a black fanny pack.
