Hailey native Bowe Bergdahl is schedule to appear in military court Tuesday on charges of desertion and endangering fellow soldiers. He was held captive by the Taliban for almost five years after allegedly deserting his unit.
Bergdahl was freed after the U.S. released five Taliban detainees in a contentious prisoner exchange in 2014. Nic Valencia has this story.
