The famous Ben's Crow Inn is closing its doors for good.
Sunday will end 48 years of business.
Ben and his wife Connie took over the Crow Inn in 1968.
Connie says it got its name from a crow that used to steal tools from the construction site when it was built.
Their grandson is the lead cook who says he grew up in the Crow.
Weston Peirsol says it's time for a change, "I think it's a good thing. I know Ben's excited to kinda retire and not worry about this anymore."
Peirsol says the famous steamed clams were a strange choice for his grandfather because he says Ben never liked seafood.
But the dish became one of the favorites at the Crow.
Piersol says ever since the closing was announced, they've been swamped and he expects it to be a long night on Sunday.
Ben's Crow Inn will be open Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m.
