Banbury Golf Course opened up their links for kiddos interested in the art of golf.

Four to ten-year-olds gained insight from experts on putting, chipping and driving. The program is called the Banbury Boomers, and kids are paired up with high school and college-aged helpers.

"In order to have fun, you don't have to be winning every single match every. It’s just about going out and having fun and improving your game and were trying to teach these kids that at a young age,” Banbury Boomer helper Sydney Veloz explained.

"I just like having the teammates on my team there really nice to me and their very fun,” eight-year-old Chloe Janson explained enthusiastically.

For the kids, it’s not about keeping score but learning skills while enjoying some time outside.

“I hit the ball far,” four-year-old Boomer golfer Casey proudly exclaimed. “I love golf so much!”

On July 27th, the Boomers will hold a golf scramble at the course followed by an ice cream party.
