UPDATE: The Badger Point fire has grown to 137 acres, but BLM officials say it is now 78% contained.
Officials say the fire was caused by exploding targets, which are illegal. No word on if Highway 33 has reopened.

Original story: Crews are responding to a fire burning near Rexburg that shut down Highway 33.
The BLM says the Badger Point fire is burning grass and brush and is about 80 acres. Multiple county resources are fighting the fire.
BLM officials estimate the fire will be contained around 8 p.m. Monday.
