A high-risk avalanche warning has gone into effect for Galena Summit and the Eastern Mountains.
According to the Sawtooth Avalanche Center, conditions are reported to become "very dangerous" as wind conditions increase at higher elevations. Both human-triggered and natural avalanches are possible.
The warning is set to lift on Sunday at 4 a.m.
