The Idaho anti-trafficking campaign encourages you to use the hashtag #IdahoFightsHT to raise awareness for human trafficking.

Posters will be all around Boise churches and hospitals, like St. Alphonsus, tomorrow promoting the hashtag.

In Idaho, 'at risk' youth like foster kids are the most susceptible to trafficking, according to the coalition. They say roughly 80% of trafficking in our state occurs at hotels.

"We're a pretty transient state, and so a trafficker can drive through our state, border to border, within four hours," said Executive Director of Idaho Anti-Trafficking Coalition Jennifer Zielinski.

There's currently no definitive data to show the number of human trafficking cases in Idaho. The Anti-Trafficking Coalition is opening up a shelter for trafficking victims later in the fall.
