Anderson Ranch dam proposal meetings happening this week

BOISE, Idaho — The Bureau of Reclamation is preparing an environmental impact statement related to the Anderson Ranch dam. The statement is about the feasibility of increasing water storage behind the dam.

The proposal includes raising Anderson Ranch six feet to allow it to store 29,000 additional acre feet of water. You are invited to learn more about the proposal during upcoming meetings.

The first will be in Pine at the Boise River Senior Center from 1 to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, August 27. Another will be at the Wyndham Garden Inn in Boise Wednesday, August 28 from 6 to 8 p.m. The third will be at the American Legion in Mountain Home on Thursday, August 29 from 6 to 8 p.m..
