UPDATE: AMBER Alert out of Montana cancelled

UPDATE (9:30 a.m): Mineral County, Montana has located the child safely along with the vehicle.

UPDATE (9:00 a.m.): The AMBER Alert has now being issued statewide. Lanetta Mellstead may now be heading to the Nampa area. If you have any information about their whereabouts, contact Mineral County Sheriffs Office at (406) 822-3555 or 911 immediately.

ORIGINAL STORY: An AMBER Alert has been issued out of Deborgia, Montana for an abducted child. The child was last seen in Deborgia and is believed to be in danger.

The non-custodial mother, 43-year-old Lanetta Kay Mellstead, incapacitated the father, who had custody, and took 7-year-old Tyran Ban Campben. At this time there is no word on the father's injuries.

The mother abuses drugs and is considered a direct threat to the life of the child. The mother may be going under the names Van Campen, Karisa or Ross.
